We are looking for a qualified Sales Support Coordinator to join our Customer Service Team at our window manufacturing plant in London, Ontario.
Position Summary
The Sales Support Coordinator acts as a liaison between the Gentek branch window administrators and Lambeth manufacturing production team. They assist branch administrators with our order entry system and provide support for more technical issues/customer orders. The Sales Support Coordinator successfully resolves escalated customer complaints ensuring the delivery of consistent and high-quality customer service for both internal and external customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as the manufacturing plant point of contact for sales and window administrators at Gentek branch locations.
- Communicate inquiries, concerns and timelines to the correct plant personnel as required.
- Utilize technical knowledge to assist window administrators with complex issues.
- Utilize internal ordering system to: verify complex orders, complete employee quotes, reorder missing/damaged product and verify correct orders.
- Act as vacation/absence coverage for window administrators and warranty department.
- Provide training and support for window administrators.
- Compile reports including but not limited to credit review/approval, duplicate reports, purchase orders, and outstanding order tracking.
- Communicate effectively with plant internal stakeholders for rush orders, partial shipments, special projects, shipping cancellations and internal quality standards.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Previous experience in the window/building products industry preferred.
- Technical aptitude and high attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of purchase order entry, order acknowledgments, inventory management, logistics, and customer service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
