McCormick Canada is currently looking to hire an Order Picker to join our Mississauga team. This position is located at our Drew Road location. 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

• Perform Receiving duties at or above department targets (i.e. unloading of freight, sampling for QA, putaway of material into warehouse)
• Daily inspection of equipment and filling in pre-op reports
• Perform shipping tasks for intercompany and Canadian material at or above department standards
• Work safely within the warehouse environment
• Work closely with other Shipping/Receiving team members to achieve the goals of the department
• Available to work required overtime to achieve the daily Shipping/Receiving volumes
• Ensures work area is maintained according to warehouse sanitation standards
• Ability to work other shifts as required
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
• Ability to perform consistent physical work (lifting up to 50lbs, reaching, bending repetitively)
• Meeting picking requirements as defined within departmental standards
• Familiarity with the SAP warehouse transactions an asset
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime, pre-shift, post-shift and weekends as required to meet customer expectations
• Warehousing, forklift experience an asset
• Must have or be capable of completing training and McCormick certification for pallet truck, counterbalance and narrow aisle forklift
