Production Associate (winterization)

Overview
The Production Associate supports cannabis extraction by operating filtration and ethanol recovery equipment, completing batch records accurately, and adhering to SOPs, QA, and HSE standards. Key tasks include achieving daily production goals, maintaining cleanliness, and training new team members.
Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, physically fit, and safety-focused. Cannabis or manufacturing experience is preferred, and flexibility for shift work is required. This role is ideal for individuals eager to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview 

• Adhere to all SOPs for the operation, QA and HSE. 
• Identify improvement opportunities and report issues in order to maximize efficiency, quality and yield while ensuring safety and reliability. 
• Perform operational tasks such as homogenization and various methods of filtration. 
• Ensure timely batch record completion with high accuracy. 
• Ability to maintain operation on ethanol recovery equipment. 
• Achieve daily KPI production goals and indicate limitations in processes. 
• Perform sanitation activities as per GPP requirements 
• Ensure 100% compliance with QA requirements during day-to-day activities 
• Train & Signoff all new employees or contractors as required.  
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

• GED required, post-secondary education preferred 
• Cannabis and/or Manufacturing experience preferred 
• Experience within Cannabis industry is an asset 
• Mechanical inclination is an asset 
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety while operating process equipment 
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills 
• Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize 
• Shows initiative and ownership of work and willingness to learn 
• Physically fit; standing and/or sitting will be required for long periods of time and must be able to lift up to 50lbs 
• Required to pass a criminal background check 
• Must be able to work various shift schedules as required. 
• Must be able to don all required PPE (respirators, goggles, etc.) 

 
The selected candidate for this role will be required to work onsite in Aylmer. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and currently reside in the country, as we do not offer sponsorship.
