We are looking for a skilled Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to join our Maintenance Team at our window manufacturing plant in London, Ontario.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
• Conduct preventative maintenance, overhauls, and inspections to prevent unplanned interruption to production
• Perform assigned work orders and account for inventory and labour in internal maintenance management system 
• Modifies, repairs, maintains, improves, and troubleshoots various equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Managing equipment changeovers, setups, takedowns, and relocations
• Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with standardized procedures to maintain equipment performance to achieve equipment uptime and production line targets
• Machine and fabricate components for equipment repairs/improvements
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and production teams to optimize machinery performance
• Ensure all job-related operations follow internal/external Health & Safety requirements

Qualifications Required

• Ontario 433A Millwright Certificate of Qualification or Inter-Provincial Red Seal

License with a minimum of 3 years’ related work experience

• Demonstrated hands on experience and skills to troubleshooting and repairing on different types of equipment in an industrial environment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and machine components
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70E, CSA Z462 and LOTO
• Knowledge of PLC and control systems considered an asset
• Be able to work quickly under pressure and have a sense of urgency
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Have strong organizational skills, detail oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize
