Bilingual Sales Representative/Représentant commercial bilingue 

3M is seeking a Bilingual Sales Representative for its Purification team located in Ontario or Quebec. The Purification business provides a range of filter solutions to help our customers achieve their filtration and separation requirements. This role is responsible for a portfolio focused on the Filtration & Separation markets and will require a combination of Territory, Opportunity, Call, and Channel Management.  The territory spans all of Canada

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build territory sales, driving growth and developing new business opportunities within the designated geography
• Accountable for fiscal growth targets and budgets
• Educate end users on products, positioning 3M as a solutions provider
• Work and collaborate with 3M internal sales and marketing team
• Manage selling cycles consisting of multiple touch points

To set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications

• Two (2) years of selling/marketing/business development experience
• University degree (Science, Engineering, etc)
• Bilingual (English-French)
• Able to successfully pass a Pre-Hire Motor vehicle screening assessment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with filtration and biopharma processes
• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (bilingual French an asset)
• Strong customer focus and consultative skills, with a proven ability to develop solutions that address customer needs
• Strong business acumen with clear understanding of the sales & marketing processes
• Excellent electronic communication and computing skills

Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 50% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver’s license is required.

Company Vehicle: This position may require driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position (if applicable)
