Data Analyst is a role in our Corporate IT team.
- Must be available to work 4 days/week in office (Monday - Thursday) with the option to work from home Friday.
You have a degree of post-secondary diploma in Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Your Skills
- Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or similar analytical roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with Power BI report development
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform
- Ability to gather requirements and translation business needs into analytical, reporting, automation, or low-code solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, or querying data from enterprise systems.
Specifically, You Will Focus On
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple business systems and data sources
- Develop recurring reports to support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Translation business requirements into meaningful KPIs and dashboards.
- Clearly present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Support the development and use of Microsoft Fabric workspaces, semantic models, dataflows, lakehouse, pipelines, and other analytics assets where applicable.
- Assist with data preparation, transformation, and modeling within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Create and maintain data models, measures, and visualizations that support business performance monitoring.
- Support the development of self-service analytics tools for business users.
- Work with stakeholders to continuously improve reporting, usability, adoption, performance, and accuracy.
- Use Power Automate to streamline repetitive reporting, notification, approval, and data collection processes
- Support the creation and maintenance of Power Apps to improve data gathering.
- Partner with business teams to identify opportunities where Power Platform tools can improve productivity
