The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Executive/Personal Assistant who can support the CEO in a rapidly growing business.  The successful candidate will be the right-hand representative of the CEO, working directly with him to handle both personal and professional matters with discretion and efficiency. In this role, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Helping the CEO of a dynamic and fast-growing group of companies focus on strategic initiatives by taking care of minor personal tasks to maximize his work engagement and concentration time.
  • Assisting with administrative duties, such as travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, catering, records management, research, overseeing all incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, reports, and internal correspondences.
  • Preparing draft internal communications for dissemination via our internal intranet and digital displays.

 

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will be required to have:

  • A minimum of two years of experience supporting a senior-level executive
  • Versatility, high energy, and an ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • A solutions-based mindset, when met with issues or problems
  • A positive attitude with an ability to find a silver lining when faced with challenging situations
  • An ability to take initiative to identify and anticipate business requirements and unspoken needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft O365
  • Experience with project management (Smartsheet), website maintenance, SharePoint, Canva, and XoGo Software (not required, but is considered an asset)
  • Post-secondary education is preferred
