Key Account Sales Management

Key focus:

Take a leadership role in the development and evolution of the company’s Silicone Injection molded product offerings specifically the target market segment (Life Sciences, Automotive & Industrial). Work directly with customers to coordinate all aspects of project management of the sales pipeline, from initial lead to commercialization, enabling customer acquisition, growth and retention. 
 

 We require a Key Account Sales Manager who will be responsible for:

  • Successful Project Management of all business development activities for a multi-stage validation product process including design concept, engineering drawings, validation requirements for tooling and part qualification, part quality requirements and commercial contract terms                                          
  • Be a self-motivated and business-focused team player with a demonstrated ability to provide technical sales expertise and work with sales representatives across the organization                           
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service and Quality team to communicate customer changes or issues and expedite their resolution      
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential and provide management reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services to realize the strategic vision for North American sales growth   
  • Coordinates the relationship with and activities of our Sales Representatives for targeted customers and prospects. Mentors and trains new sales representatives as required                                                        
  • Participates in new product launches, marketing initiatives, customer events, industry group activities/conventions/trade shows associated with the market segment
  • Prepare detailed reports, action lists, time sensitive projects, and other administrative duties               
  • Participate in regular department meetings                                                                                           
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions                                                                                          
  • Should conduct other work activities according to established job instructions and follow procedures and practices of Starlim North America Corporation                                                                                    
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring safety, housekeeping and quality standards are maintained        
     

 Do you have?

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, or Technical related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Plastic or Rubber Injection Molding industry specifically in product development or processing is highly desired
  • Hands-on technical skills with the ability to learn company products and technology in seals with plastic and rubber
  • strong analytical skills to review technical and historical data
  • CAD and Microsoft Office skills
  • Project Management Professional certification an asset
  • Oriented to a manufacturing organization
     

 Successful candidate will also have:

  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively document and manage low structure, complex projects across various departments within a global organization 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication and presentation skills  
  • Excellent leadership and people skills; demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively in technical and non-technical environments with multiple stakeholders in a global environment   
  • Adept at managing existing customers to ensure retention, loyalty, and continued sales growth
  • Able to host, lead and present in front of large audiences
  • Self-motivated and able to manage concurrent, conflicting priorities
  • Experience with running and executing the sales process utilizing ERP and CRM software
  • Must have a valid passport and no conditions that would prevent frequent domestic and international travel as required
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
