Quality Engineer

• Apply quality requirements to ensure procured material conforms to technical and contractual requirements
• Assess, audit and evaluate suppliers and supplier quality systems
• Co-ordinate/action resolution of supplier based non-conformances
• Ensure suppliers implement effective corrective action in response to problem reports/resolution
• Evaluate and validate supplier compliance submissions
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing and field compliance concerns with supplier based parts
• Develop quality systems and procedures associated with critical components
• Apply quality engineering tools and procedures as required to contain supplier related quality spills

Required Qualifications 

• University Degree in an Engineering Discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
• Eligible for Professional Engineering Designation
• Quality Assurance Experience
• Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (10% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
• Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space

• Strong technical metal fabrication or electrical skills
