Engineering Lab Supervisor

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with engineering personnel to identify, acquire, and develop test infrastructure to meet the needs for development of new product and evaluation of existing products.

• Manage Engineering Lab expenses within budget.

• Ensure high quality of test results by developing test plans, methods and instructions.

• Continuous benchmarking of test development technology and adoption/development of new test methodologies to address the changing nature of new products and to take advantage of sophisticated capabilities.

• Maintain Engineering Lab equipment and systems in calibrated, operational state with strong focus on safety, cost efficiency and quality.

• Maintain Engineering Lab performance statistics including volume of tests, type of tests, average test time, and other metrics to continuously improve lab efficiency.

• Supervise and mentor Engineering Lab personnel and help manage their task assignments and career development.

• Maintain Masco Canada ISO 17025 testing facility compliance

Who You Are:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience is required

• Ability to travel internationally is required

• Diploma OR Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
