We’re looking for a knowledgeable, site-savvy construction professional to join us as a Construction Field Representative (Structural Lead). This person will be the go-to on high-value job sites- reviewing drawings, coordinating RFIs and permits, and keeping things running smoothly between engineers, clients, and contractors. Bonus points if you’ve got ideas for improving how things are done, because this role has the opportunity to shape the future of construction administration at co-elevate.

a day in the life of a Construction Field Representative (Structural Lead) at co-elevate

  • Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterday’s challenges and plan for the day’s tasks.
  • Provide meaningful oversight and mentorship of less experienced staff by providing guidance and reviews
  • A daily break for a game of Table Tennis or Golf Simulator is always welcomed.
  • Attend one of co-elevates group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.
  • Participate in one of co-elevates charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events.
  • Conduct drawing review to ensure conformance to designs

what we are looking for in a Construction Field Representative (Structural Lead)

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Construction Field Representative (Structural Lead) to support our engineering teams by managing project documentation, coordinating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution of construction processes. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency, quality, and compliance throughout the lifecycle of our projects.
  • Experience: 5+ years in construction administration, engineering support, or a related role. You are (or are on the road to) calling yourself a construction expert.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with interpreting structural drawings and building knowledge. Familiarity with building construction terminology, contracts, and engineering documentation.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or other construction management software).

C. Tech and/or CET accreditation 
Structural Technologist

 

you will be responsible for:

  • Completing and coordinating work associated with shop drawing reviews.
  • Providing and coordinating necessary inspections and field review reports
  • Coordinating documentation during construction including contemplated changes, site instructions or responses to request for information
  • Coordinating issues of concern with the stamping Engineer
  • Managing construction documents, including IFC drawings, and fulfilling Prime Consultant responsibilities
  • Developing and standardizing co-elevate’s Construction Management program, including training and best practices
  • Opportunity to grow into a department leadership role and shape construction administration processes
