Logistics Packaging Team Member

Key focus:
  • Packaging finished goods following appropriate protocols, preparing shipments and accepting deliveries, and verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities:
  • Weigh, package, seal and label all production products according to specifications                            
  • Prepare orders, product warehousing, inventory replenishment, and shipping preparation            
  • Label, wrap and pack goods in appropriate shipping containers to prevent damage during shipping
  • Responsible for cleanroom washing and packaging           
  • Unload all incoming trucks, put material in proper destinations                  
  • Checking incoming goods against packing slips and/or purchase orders                   
  • Safely move product to designated locations using various equipment and systems including fork lifts, hand trucks, scanning devices               
  • Preparing reports on shortages or damaged goods                           
  • Prepares raw material according to the production schedule                       
  • Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and materials                              
  • Assist with claim management issues related to damages, shortages, and non-conformance specifications               
  • Understanding of Health & Safety initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring safety, housekeeping and quality standards are maintained                            
  • Should conduct other work activities according to established job instructions and follow procedures and practices of Starlim North America Corporation.                

Do you have?
  • High School diploma (OSSD or equivalent)
  • 1 -2 years relevant experience in shipping and receiving

Successful candidate will also have:
  • Ability to coordinate, organize and plan
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and lift weights up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to work all shifts and weekends
