Master Scheduler

Position Description:

• Develop and maintain a Master Production Schedule that plans, schedules and monitors top level products through their production cycle and manages the end item master schedules ensuring M&CS attains customer requirements in an efficient manner
• Create and/or organize a schedule that displays a daily output and ensures that every output (station application) is recorded appropriately in our ERP System (Oracle)
• Create Master Schedule that fully utilizes and optimizes available plant capacity 
• Continuously ensure all required Master Schedule data is accurate
• Work with Industrial Engineering to create detailed labour profiles on current and proposed Master Schedules
• Participate in work area capacity projects with Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering as required  
• Liaise regularly with manufacturing teams
• Communicate schedules and changes in a timely fashion and highlight changes throughout the organization

Position Requirements 

• University or College Degree
• Strong computer skills and abilities in Excel/Microsoft Office and simulation software
• Experience in Oracle or similar ERP system
• Communicates effectively with various levels of management and personnel from all functions. Establishes productive working relationships with internal customers and leadership
• Must be able to work in a team environment cordially and effectively, as well      as having the ability to lead a team if required to
• Must exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to multi-task at all      times
• Must be able to work independently on projects and meet aggressive deadlines
• Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Must possess at least a basic knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing activities
• Project management skills

Preferred Requirements

•  University or College Degree in the areas of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Scheduling
• 3+ years Production Scheduling and/or Master Scheduling
• 3+ years manufacturing environment experience
• APICS certification (CPIM and/or CSCP) or actively pursuing
