WHO WE ARE
It all began in 2016, when founder and CEO was introduced to the keto diet. Thus, “Ketolibriyum” was born with the desire to help others achieve improved health by living a ketogenic lifestyle supported by ready-made ketogenic foods from “Ketolibriyum”. In 2024, Ketolibriyum merged with Clean Craving Kitchen to expand their selection of gluten-free, sugar free meal and treats to offer the same gluten free clean eating options to those following all healthy lifestyles, including Mediterranean, plant-based and performance based eating.

We provide sugar-free, gluten-free desserts, baked goods to help our customers follow a healthy, clean lifestyle.

JOB SUMMARY

As a baker, and part of a team, you are responsible to show up every shift with a positive attitude and the passion to create delightful and delicious baked goods and treats.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

The r incumbent:

  • Assists in leading and inspiring a growing team of people to be the best gluten-free bakery
  • Has a passion for developing the best in class baked goods
  • Operates baking machinery
  • Bakes and decorates cakes and desserts ensuring the usage of fresh and healthy ingredients
  • Checks ingredient freshness and availability to guarantee all the desserts will be prepared as needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake
  • Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter, following recipes
  • Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in oven. Observe products while cooking and adjust controls
  • Use a variety of kitchen tools, including electric mixers, pans, rolling pins, heating sources, and cutting tools
  • Monitor baking process to identify needed adjustments
  • Control mixing processes and oven controls
  • Proposes and develops new recipes
  • Checking supplies when low and ask to the person in charge to order
  • Track your production numbers
  • Track inventory and organize supplies with accuracy checks.
  • Keep workstations constantly clean
  • Need to stretch and lift up to 50 lbs.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience preferred in a production bakery environment
  • Masters degree or Baking or Culinary Program graduation preferred
  • Knowledge in precautionary measures for possible hazards – WHMIS, plus Knowledge of Food Handling and Food Safety, HACCP/GMP/JHSC
  • Knowledge in a wide range of ingredients
  • Knowledge of baking equipment and techniques
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Experience and/or knowledge of gluten free goods and ingredients
  • Must also be patient, detail-oriented, creative, and organized
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team
