Our 147,000 square foot production facility boasts a state-of-the-art air quality and ventilation system including air purifiers, ten skylights, strategically placed ceiling fans, top of the line welding machines and helmets and high efficiency LED lighting throughout the production floor.

 

The Opportunity

SLEEGERS is recruiting a Human Resources Administrator to help implement policy, recruitment, orientation and training, benefits, health and safety and other areas as directed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Recruitment

  • Identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
  • Contact applicants to inform them of the status of their employment possibilities, consideration, and selection.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Utilize the Internet for recruitment, post positions to appropriate Internet sources; Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
  • Organize and manage employee onboarding process, prepare and review documents required before the scheduled orientation, and follow up on outstanding paperwork.
  • Ensure new hires are set up for success with the correct IT solutions

 

Employee Programs

  • Monitoring and managing the following SLEEGERS HR Programs:
    • Uniform Program
    • Boot Allowance
    • Attendance Management
    • Performance Evaluations
  • Holding leaders accountable to their HR requirements related to these programs (if applicable)
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage employee resignation/termination access emails
  • Support HR projects, as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or other appropriate field preferred.
  • Work experience in supporting manufacturing is considered an asset
