ROLE: Sales Commercialization Co-ordinator

REPORTS TO: Chief Commercial Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Commercialization Coordinator reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. This hybrid role will support Sales, Product and Marketing, creating a bridge between the functions and giving the incumbent a truly cross functional experience. Supporting Sales, they will work closely with the provinces and commercial partners to support sales functions and customer success, coordinating initiatives and building new processes to increase efficiency. They will assist in the coordination and communication of all sales objectives while working cross-functionally with supporting teams. Supporting the commercial team, they will be accountable for project management of existing product categories, internal and external partner coordination, managing of provincial product submissions as well as championing new product initiatives.

The Sales and Product Commercialization Coordinator is a strong project manager with an eye for developing and managing processes and complex projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES SUPPORTING SALES:

  • Track, map and coordinate sales projects tasked by Director of Sales
  • Support provincial and commercialization teams to create submission materials and source information
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to support sales objectives in medical, provincial and international markets
  • Coordinate sales materials and assets to support provinces
  • Organize and manage internal communication systems (OneDrive, Teams and Sharepoint) to increase overall organization of processes and communication
  • Attend meetings and calls to track deliverables, then work with various teams to coordinate those deliverables
  • RESPONSIBILITIES SUPPORTING MARKETING: Create work plans and reports to ensure project metrics are met
  • Assist in managing the delivery of product pipeline projects
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding and ownership of deliverables
  • Manage and execute key provincial / key account form requirements to facilitate quick and efficient product sell in
  • Manage information gathering and documentation across projects to ensure internal stakeholders are aligned (i.e. product specs, forecasting, pricing, etc.)
  • Assist in identifying potential risks to project timelines and scope
  • Assist in the organization, tracking and analysis of customer product performance and competitive landscape

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of Sales/Marketing project management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business or relevant field an asset
  • Cannabis knowledge and experience in a manufacturing/CPG environment an asset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, perseverance and willingness to learn in a fast-moving and demanding environment
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated capability as a team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Customer service attitude
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
