Product Associate, Fashion Plumbing

Product Associate Masco Canada (Hybrid with base of Mississauga or St Thomas ON office)

We're looking for someone who is passionate about bringing new products to market within the luxury portfolio of our Trade channel. As part of the Product Management team, the candidate will be essential in owning the strategy of their product portfolio. This includes product lifecycle management, pricing, promotions, commercialization and achieving portfolio sales and profitability.

This position will be the owner of the assigned brands within our luxury product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for growing sales and share with our Trade customers through the launch of new products. As the product subject matter expert, you will collaborate with cross functional teams and sister business units to define and execute product, pricing and promotional planning. These responsibilities require strategic thinking, data analysis and the ability to work with a broad range of cross functional teams.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and deliver on multi-year product roadmap to ensure a continuous pipeline of new products in the luxury brand business segment
• Analyze data and develop business case proposals
• Maintain competitive information
• Identify trends and new product segments
• Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual sales and margin targets
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product launches and promotions are executing on time throughout the year
• Interact with domestic and international sister business units to gather key information and data to support product launches in the Canadian market

What You Will Bring:

• University degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
• 1 -3 years’ experience in category management or project management
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally
• Self-starter with “General Manager” mindset
• Excellent time management skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and using data to gain meaningful business insights
• Project Management experience is an asset
