Come build the future with us! We are looking for a dynamic Organizational Development and People Learning Manager. Reporting to VP Finance & People Team, you will join a rapidly growing and developing team.

 

This is a critical and visible role which would be responsible for driving transformational changes in people learning and organizational development that build leadership and organizational capabilities enabling the achievement of our Masco Canada strategy. In collaboration with our People Operations team and business leaders, this person will design and implement core processes to drive long-term performance, including performance development strategy, talent programs, Diversity Equity and Inclusion and leadership development & learning. We are looking for a team player with strong business acumen, innovative ideas, excellent communication skills, and a drive to win. 

 

This position can be based out of either our Mississauga, ON or St. Thomas, ON locations.

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Human Resources focusing on talent &/or organizational development

  • Hands-on development, implementation and administration experience in multiple talent areas such as Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employee Development, Succession Planning, Career Development, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development

  • Demonstrated experience of exhibiting strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while also possessing a customer-service orientation

  • Demonstrates strong project management and organizational/planning skills, including prioritizing and effective time management skills

  • Able to be flexible, adaptable and resourcefully navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess the ability to effectively and professionally communicate and interact with employees at all levels of the organization including strong facilitation skills

  • Strong business acumen with ability to recommend solutions to support achievement of organizational goals

  • Experience using a research-oriented approach to collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data with demonstrated ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends

  • Self-starter with ability to deliver results with minimal supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills with experience working with HR enabling technology (such as HRIS, LMS, talent management technology

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development or related field

 

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the implementation, improvement, and measurement of core Talent programs such as development and diversity & inclusion

  • Design, develop, implement, and improve programs, process, systems, tools, and resources to support growth and development of employees and progression of high potentials and identified successors

  • Support talent assessment process to define critical gaps and develop integrated talent strategies to address, including working with HR team and business leaders on internal development opportunities

  • In partnership with HR team and business leaders drive successful performance development planning to support robust succession planning.

  • Monitor the development of talent by working with business leaders to ensure that development plans are in place and progressing

  • Maintain strong relations with the business leaders to strengthen capabilities and ensure that talent management processes and practices are in alignment with the organization

  • Assist with identified measurements of talent practices including analyzing data.

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires to ensure a great employee experience that yields high levels of new hire engagement

  • Establish & maintain key human resources KPIs to measure effectiveness of HR services and provided timely reporting

  • Design, develop and implement professional and leadership development programs (including 3rd party) based on the organization’s needs to enable our strategic priorities

  • Develop learning path infrastructure for professionals and leaders throughout the organization

  • Implement annual employee engagement surveys including execution, communication or results and action planning

  • Monitor external trends on talent and develop leading edge capabilities to acquire, develop, engage and retain top talent

  • Partner across functions, Masco Canada HR team and Masco Talent & other BU HR teams to ensure work is integrated
