The Opportunity

We are recruiting a ASME Production Leader to efficiently manage and coordinate the flow of work on the production floor. As a leader, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety and ongoing development of your team, consistent production of high-quality products, while meeting all company and customer expectations. 

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for certifying welding qualification documents and quality control documents
  • Develop, prepare and review all changes of Welding Procedure Specifications 
  • Certify and control Procedure Qualification Records 
  • Assist in welding material control and and welding material storage, protection and distribution among the production floor.
  • Spending considerable time on the shop floor leading and coaching the department and employees on job roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring all employees are properly trained on all related procedures, processes and usage of equipment
  • Working with the Leadership team to ensure consistency and accountability in employee relations

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong technical background with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ASME
  • Working knowledge of ASME section 12
  • Possess leadership qualities with an ability to direct and motivate employees
  • Experience planning and organizing to be able to effectively oversee and monitor the production process
  • Sound judgement and the ability to act decisively and solve employee or equipment related problems
  • Proactive and goal-oriented to make improvements in systems and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines
