Supply Chain Analyst II Inventory

McCormick Canada is currently looking to hire a Supply Chain Analyst ll - Inventory to join our Material Planning team. This position will be located in our London, ON location.
The Supply Chain Analyst ll - Inventory Supports the Materials Management Dept with a focus on Waste reduction and scrap tracking and inventory accuracy. Through proactive identification of potential scrap and diversion and through auditing and review of processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Ownership of the Inventory at risk process from identification, through rework, return to vendor, deviation approval through disposition. Including product discontinuation impacts.
· Lead weekly Scrap review with operations. Provide weekly and monthly KPI data for analysis.
· Identify potential stale dating items and offer solutions for use: Drive the rework process through the plant.
· Ownership of regulatory requirements reporting for Govt programs around import/export inventory ( CDC Dairy, IREP,Excise Canada)
· Audit material consumption transactions/processes for accuracy (TICO, cycle count, write up/write down)
· Oversee cycle count accuracy including reporting metrics and in conjunction with operations monitor production bin locations for accuracy.
· Supply Chain Pillar Co-Chair
· In conjunction with quality: Tracking and resolution of QN issues, including RCCA for Operations caused scrap. Return to Vendor reviews. Lead regular scrap and return to vendor reviews with quality.
· Tracking of all RIDs (Asset Disposals) for Operations through Monthly meetings with Senior Leadership
· Warehouse Capacity reviews and suggestions for inventory reduction through master settings review.
· Analyze and monitor material master settings within SAP and APO, master data setup review for projects
· Produce, maintain and monitor Dept KPI data and explore projects/ initiatives to drive improvement
· Backup for Planning and Scheduling personnel
Qualifications Required:
· College Diploma or University Degree in Business
· CAPICS OR PMAC certification
· High degree of proficiency in Excel/Access with demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis.
· Purchasing/Inventory Management experience
