McCormick Canada is currently looking to hire an Assistant Commercialization Manager to join our ME PMO team on a 9 month contract. This position can be located at either or Mississauga or London, Ontario office. 

 

This role is responsible for the management of GS1 data, leading assigned projects within the Canadian CPD scope, as well as providing back up capacity within the Commercialization Department.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage GS1 data input assigned for all items sold through McCormick Canada
  • Create training material for all users for GS1 data
  • Provide ongoing sales & marketing tracking materials associated with GS1 data
  • Manage sales samples associated with new launch projects, working closely with PMO and Brand Managers
  • Assist with New Product Creation (Lotus Notes) and Packaging Initiation (STEP)
  • Lead cross-functional teams independently, including the commercialization process of new product launches, product changes and/or product deletions
  • Assess business process to identify gaps & solutions to improve commercialization efforts

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration degree, or related discipline
  • Good ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter that perseveres despite tight timelines, complexity and challenges
  • Business acumen that goes beyond marketing required
  • Demonstrated success championing business initiatives and gaining buy-in with senior-level management preferred
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills with bias for action, ability to multi-task, be resourceful and adaptable
  • Good communication and presentation skills required
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP experience preferred
