Finance Administrator Specialist

JMP Solutions is searching for a Finance Administrator Specialist. Reporting to the Controller and working as an integral member of the Finance Team, this position will perform internal accounting functions with a primary focus on accounts payables and invoicing. The role will be responsible for managing inbound AP invoices, resolving invoicing issues, managing vendor relationships, and providing support for various finance functions.

Based out of our London, Ontario Corporate office, the Finance Administrator Specialist will work closely with the Finance team members and other departments as required.

 

What would a typical day look like?

  • Manage inbound AP invoices
  • Follow-up on invoice approvals
  • Resolve and reconcile invoice issues
  • Manage vendor inquiries and relationships
  • Provide cheque run support through matching, mailing, and filing
  • AP invoice entry as required
  • Provide back-up support to travel coordinator
  • Administer credit applications
  • Support other tasks as required

What qualifies you for this opportunity? 

  • Degree/Diploma in Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Experience within an Accounting department or as an Administrative Assistant is an asset
  • Advanced level of Excel skills working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
  • Proficiency in ERP systems or accounting software packages is an asset
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing business conditions and a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be self-directed with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve
