Job Description
 
  • Responsible for ensuring the achievement of organizational or business goals of the Logistics T1 department.  
  • Anticipate future department needs and make recommendations to the Manager. 
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the management processes using models in place (VPO Excellence). 
  • Responsible for the workforce financial budget (Fixed and Variable Logistics Costs).  
  • Lead the VPO management (5S, 5Whys, GOP, SLA, PI/SIC, Team Room execution). 
  • Responsible for achieving KPI targets (efficiency, productivity targets, quality, absenteeism etc.). 
  • Participate to the department’s succession development plan and transfer of expertise to support the 3-5 years vision. 
  • Manage the department’s employees collaborating with the Business Process Manager and shift managers.. 
  • Participate to the labor relations committee and help manage the 2nd step of the grievances. 
  • Be the main point of contact for everything involving his line of business’ communication with the key actors of the National zone. 
  • Participate to the Daily meetings and monitor primary actions. 
  • Support the Engineering team with the CAPEX projects. 
  • Act as an expert solving technical problems with the continuous improvement tools (PDCA, SMED, 5S). 
  • Responsible for the implementation of the best practices and compliance in executing them. 
 
Job Qualifications
 
  • University diploma in Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics or any related field; 
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience.  
  • Great abilities in people and priorities management; 
  • Experience in financial budget and project management; 
  • Have a strategic vision, rigor, pro-activity, be autonomous and results-oriented 
  • Experience in a unionized environment;
